Dear CCA/CCMS Parents,

It is with deep sadness that Ms. Harveen and I share an important update regarding the Child Care Assistance (CCA) program through the ChildCareGroup that ONLY affects families that participate in their tuition assistance program.

Effective November 1, 2025, ChildCareGroup has temporarily TERMINATED its agreement with Bright Minds Learning Center for a period of 6 months, ending in April 1, 2026. During this time, we will unfortunately be UNABLE TO ACCEPT both Current & New Students enrolled in the CCA program.

This decision was made in the event that our Center exceeded the maximum allowance of 40 deficiency points per review period for a TRS entry-level licensed child care facility. While we are deeply disappointed to learn of this outcome, we want to assure you that we are taking every necessary step to correct & strengthen our compliance measures.

We understand this news comes as a shock, and we share your hurt on this one. ChildCareGroup will be reaching out directly to all affected families to provide detailed next steps & guidance on how to proceed with childcare arrangements during the suspension period.

Our plan is to apply for a reinstatement immediately upon end of the suspension period, with the goal of welcoming all of you wonderful families back to Bright Minds Learning Center if you choose to return at that time. We are fully committed to ensuring that, when that time comes, the transition back to our care is as smooth and seamless as possible. Our teachers & administration have spent tireless days building special relationships with each & everyone of you & we wouldn’t want something as a state infused directive to stand in the way of possibly continuing this relationship once again in the future.

Please know that we have tried everything in our power to overturn this decision. However, the ruling was upheld in accordance with the policies set forth by the Texas Workforce Commission, which oversees the ChildCareGroup program.

We sincerely apologize for the hardship & inconvenience this may cause your family. We are truly grateful for your trust, understanding, & continued support that you have given us this far and we hope that we can continue to rely on the same as we work through this challenge.
